Add a vibrant, coastal touch to your next summer gathering or seaside dinner party with this striking vintage 2-tier serving set by renown art glass studio Peggy Karr. Introduced in 2001, this piece comes from her highly collectible "Seafood" series. Hand-signed by the artist, this beautiful set features two heavy, textured fused glass trays nestled into a sturdy, classic black wrought iron display frame with an elegant curved carrying handle.
Each tier showcases a beautifully detailed, vivid red crustacean nestled among realistic blue mussels and delicate orange scallop shells against a soft, creamy white background with a sea-blue border. The top rectangular tray features a classic lobster motif, while the larger bottom square tray features a matching crab design.
Crafted in the studio's Randolph, New Jersey facility, Peggy Karr's signature bubble-infused glass technique gives these pieces incredible depth and a wonderful, light-catching texture. Perfect for serving appetizers, desserts, or small bites at your next clambake or casual beach gathering.
