1184. “Fran the dinosaur” costume feet from Dinosaurs. (Jim Henson Prod., 1991-1994) The family sitcom Dinosaurs was the brainchild of the legendary muppeteer, Jim Henson, who dreamed up the idea for the show a few years before his untimely death in 1990. The show was populated by a family of Dinosaur puppets. This is a large pair of “Fran the Dinosaur” puppet suit feet. Consisting of 17 x 9 in. cast latex, 3-toed, foam-filled slip-on feet. Interior is black fabric-lined with a plastic snap in the heel and velcro rim at the ankle to fasten the feet to the suit. The cartoonish, reptilian feet are painted in dark greens with rust colored toenails. Highly detailed down to the footprint whirls etched into the soles. Both feet retain the internal Jim Henson Productions, Inc. bias label with handwritten, “Fran 2nd Season”. In production-used very good condition.
