(Iwerks Studio, 1934) Rare original production model cel featuring the two main characters from the 1934 Ub Iwerks short, The Brave Tin Soldier. Iwerks, a key animator and partner in the Disney Studio, was lured away from Disney in 1930 by rival Pat Powers. The Brave Tin Soldier was part of the “Comic-Color” series produced by the studio and distributed by MGM Studios. The trimmed animation cel measures 6 x 3.5 in. Image size is 4.5 x 3 in. In very good condition.
