Description
IMPORTANT, A very fine QianLong Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Moon Flask.
Qing Dynasty Period (1644-1911), and of the Period.
Thick potted vase of tapered globular body, with narrow straight neck to the rim, raised on splayed footed oval base. Two scrolling dragons handles flanked from shoulder to the neck. Banded with repeated ruyi patterns under the rim, and collar. Main body decorated with hand painting in cobalt blue underglaze of centralized three abundant fruits and its foliage surrounded by lotus blooms and scrolling twigs.
Mark on base, six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing (1644-1911), and of the period.
Dimension: 12-3/4" H x 9-1/2" Diam.
