This is a signed, limited edition of Billy Bathgate which won the 1989 National Book Critics Circle award for fiction for 1990, the 1990 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction,the 1990 William Dean Howells Medal, and was the runner up for the 1990 Pulitzer Prize and the 1989 National Book Award.

Condition
This is in its original blue slipcase, which has light scuffs but no significant stains, no tears, and little color fade. The book itself is near fine. The cover has a few scuffs, but no stains or tears, no curl to the ends of the spine, which is straight, and no fade to the gilt lettering. The only attachment is a personal bookplate on the inside front cover. There are no other stamps and, other than the copy number and Doctorow’s signature, no writing. The binding is tight throughout the book, with no loose or missing pages. There are no page tears or creases. All the text is in new condition. The accompanying photos are accurate representations of the book.
