Description
Very rare Chinese "lime green" vase, globular form elegantly rising to a tall, slightly flared, columnar neck, applied overall with a lustrous enamel of bright lime-green hue, interior and base applied with a transparent glaze, with Yongzheng six-character marks in under glazed blue within double circles and of the period (1723-1735), on original 18th century wooden stand, 8 1/4" h. Provenance: The Travis Brock Collection of Monochrome Ceramics, Bethesda, Maryland, acquired in Derbyshire, England, 1972.
