Details: This lot consists of a Peace Eagle Black Powder Flask from our Civil War Estate Collection.

This brass flask, stamped with "1848" and "Batty", measures approx. 10' X 4". The US shield, eagle and peace motif surrounded by 20 stars is raised on both sides.

This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. Worth Auctions will feature scores of antique firearms, edged weapons, paintings, and unusual items over the next few months. A selection of post-1898 firearms by major manufacturers will also be featured.

Condition / Notes: This black powder flask is well preserved and shows signs of age and wear that may include patina and abrasions.
