ANSONIA KITCHEN SHELF CLOCKS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a "Girard" with maple case, and a "Dayton" with oak case, each with applied decoration, and original paper label to back; each having eight-day movement, paper dial with Ansonia trademark. Pendulums present, lacking keys. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 23 3/8" HOA, 15 3/8" W, and 22 1/4" HOA, 13 3/8" W.
Cases in excellent condition overall, "Girard" with wear to base from door opening, expected wear and discoloration to dials, "Dayton" example with minor loss to minute hand. "Dayton" not currently in working condition, "Girard" in unknown working condition, pendulum hook detached but present (see Catalogue Guarantee).
