1) BROWNING A5 WITH CUSTOM ENGRAVING. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 2545. Bbl. 27" plain of Cockerill Steel w/ fixed IC choke. Top of bbl. marked "BROWNING AUTOMATIC ARMS CO. OGDEN UTAH U.S.A." Standard weight action w/ safety in trigger guard. Left side has "FABRIQUE NATIONALE" markings. Action & breech end of bbl. have custom vine type foliate engraving surrounding gold plated hunting scenes w/ pointer on right side, hunter, setter on left side. Trigger has hand grooved surface. 1960's vintage replacement forearm. Custom straight hand stock of fancy thin shell walnut w/ hand checkering. LOP: 15 1/2" over white line pad. CONDITION: bbl. & action have 80% lightly faded blue. Forearm has cracking finish showing handling marks. Stock has lightly worn finish showing sm. marks. Good bright bore. (18-1049/DS). 2) WALTHER SEMI AUTO. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 1/2". S# 5450. Bbl. 27 1/2" plain w/ fixed full choke & ramp mounted bead front sight. Unusual action features lever style bolt handle. Forearm tips down at rear to facilitate magazine loading. Finger groove forearm & rnd. knob stock of checkered walnut. LOP: 14 1/4" over horn buttplate. Weight: 7 lbs., 13.5 oz. CONDITION: 60% dull fading blue showing spots of freckling & surface corrosion. Wood has heavily worn finish & checkering over dents & handling marks. Forearm has chips & cracks around action. Stock has several cracks through head area w/ screw type repairs. Toeline has 2 open holes for sling attachment. Good bore. (18-1052/DS). BOTH CURIO. $600-1000 for lot.
