A gold earring in Greek style formed as a slender hook with discoid plaque, concentric filigree bands and central garnet cabochon, suspended hollow sheet gold amphora with ivy tendrils and leaves to the handles, repoussé seated figure to the body, square foot with filigree. 4.70 grams, 45mm (1 3/4"). From an important London collection; acquired on the UK art market 1971-1974.
