Two 19 Century Chinese Porcelain Containers and covers, the first a melon shaped container and cover with stem finial and applied leaves, and painted in famille rose enamels with bamboo, fruit and flowers accented with gold, the base glazed over the edge with 7 spur marks and an iron red seal mark; the second container & cover in blue and white with landscapes with water and boats and a base with a Lingzhi mark in underglaze blue inside the unglazed foot rim. The first with wear to enamels and gold with a small glaze flake re-stuck and a tiny chip; the second with light age related wear. Diameter of first 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.). Height with cover of second 5 inches (12.8 cm.).
