PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE DIMINUTIVE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately half-gallon capacity, ovoid form with beaded shoulder ring and everted flat-top rim, brown-slip glazed interior. Brushed cobalt three-petal flower with leaves decoration repeated three times around body. Probably the Pottery of Richard C. Remmey (1835-1904), Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1875. 7 5/8" H, 5 3/4" D rim.
