(Paramount, 1956) Originally built by 20th Century Fox for use in The Egyptian (1954), this extremely ornate and beautifully crafted piece is an exact replica of King Tutankhamen's golden throne. Paramount bought numerous Egyptian set pieces from Fox for use in The Ten Commandments. This ornate throne is constructed of wood, stone, resin and gold paint and made to resemble the original golden chair with inlaid stone/jewels. It was also used as a set piece in Tyrell's apartment in Blade Runner (Warner Bros., 1982). The chair measures 40 in. tall x 26 ½ in. deep x 21 in. wide. $10,000 - $12,000
