Hopewell artistry at its best. Ex-Len Weidner, Earl Townsend (#1740), Dr. Rollin Bunch, Judge Edward Payne, Artes (Evansville) collections. Pictured in The Payne Book (p118), 1954 #2 CSAJ (p46), Legends II (p142 & p576), Prehistoric Artifacts of Iowa p). J.G. Braecklein (Paynes's buyer) notes this is an Iowa Pipe. Rare offering.
