Early Victorian English wheel barometer, the tropical wood case with blond wood banding and swan neck crest enclosing a hygrometer, mercury thermometer, convex bullseye mirror, barometer dial, and level marked "P. Balarini York," the glass mercury tube intact, its compartment containing a business card from "M.W. Cox / Court Cottage/ Stanton, Drew, Bristol," giving instructions on how to set the barometer, circa 1840. 38.5" H x 10" W. Swan neck pediment lacking proper left crest; hygrometer loose; minor edge nicks and age-related wear.
