Charles Frederick Eaton Jewelry Box c1906. Featured in a 1906 article in House & Garden Magazine written by Katherine Louise Smith (also wrote for Gustav Stickley's Craftsman Magazine). One of only 2 known examples of this jewelry box. Made of "buff suede, brass trimmings inset with abalone, cut like stones." Unsigned. Small loss to leather under front rim. Excellent original patina. 8.75"w x 6"d x 6.75"h (+ handle)
