Epstein Brothers Art Deco Burled Elm and Leather Parlor Suite
in the "Cloud" pattern, comprising a settee and two armchairs, after a design by Harry and Lou Epstein of London, each upholstered in ivory leather and fitted with loose seat cushions, the arms and backs trimmed with burled elm.

Notes: The Epstein firm, founded by a Polish immigrant, was in operation from 1895 until 1970. The Art Deco Cloud series was introduced in the 1930s and remained in production at least into the 1950s.
In overall very good condition. The pieces exhibit some very light scrubs, wear and soiling consistent
with light use.
There is a veneer loss on one of the armchair arms, about 1/4" x 3/8".
All are tight and solid. The sofa is missing a rear caster.
The leather exhibits light wear, most notably to the seat cushions. There is a faint horizontal scratch to the
center sofa cushion. Scrubbing to the top edge on the back of the arm chairs, and to a lesser degree the
sofa, presumably from backing to a wall.
