Description: This is a grade-A specimen collected and prepared by one of the foremost authorities of the Eocene flora and fauna. This fossil fish is from Wyoming.The Green River Formation consists of three very large fossil lakes located in Utah, Colorado and Wyoming. The smallest of the three lakes is in Wyoming but is by far and away the most productive. This specimens come from the Warfield Quarry located near Kemmerer, Wyoming.
