WWI American Expeditionary Force, North Russia tunic with "NR" shoulder patch, service stripes, and WWI victory medal bar. Also known as the Polar Bear Expedition, this was a contingent of about 5,000 United States Army troops that landed in Arkhangelsk, Russia as part of the Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War. Good condition overall with some interior staining and a few very small holes present. Rare. Front pocket contains the veteran's discharge paperwork and details his personal record and war record. The veteran, Frank Kamsickas, was born in Lithuania and fought in 4 battles during the war.
