provenance: Europe
Round, smoothbore barrel, bell-mouthed at the nozzle and with rings at the breech, iron foresight on a fretworked brass base; revolving chamber with three muzzle-loading cylindrical chambers with pans and batteries; flat plate flint-lock with writings in Cyrillic (?); slightly sculpted two-piece wooden full-stock with iron mounts, trigger guard with spring (to revolve the chamber), the back is engraved with a coat-of-arms picturing the double-headed eagle (Russian?) where there once was an iron mount. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod with extractor.
