A small collection of kitchenalia and treen
to include a carved wooden napkin ring (possibly by Emily Davies, wife of SWD), two horn napkin rings with silver mounts, two forks, a bread knife and sharpening tool with carved wooden handles by the SWD workshop and various letter openers, etc; together with various ephemera from the SWD archive.
Provenance: The Stanley Webb Davies Collection. The wooden handled forks, knife and sharpening blade closely relate to other designs in SWD's
photograph albums under design #237-A held in the V&A Archives.
Stanley's wife Emily was a skilled carver herself, embellishing several fixtures at Gatesbield.
