901. Sigourney Weaver iconic space suit armor from Alien. (20th Century-Fox, 1979) Armored shoulder pads and latticed breastplate fashioned from fiberglass and cloth as screen worn by Sigourney Weaver in ALIEN. "Ripley" is without doubt Weaver's single most significant screen role, and this armor appears clearly in one of the most erotically charged film scenes of all time. Ripley first strips down to flimsy transparent underwear without realizing the acid-salivating alien creature is only inches away, then must ease into her armored vacuum suit without notice. Armor is intentionally distressed(as are most if not all other props prepared for this film) but is otherwise complete and intact, save evidence of a possible missing emblem from top panel of breastplate.
