1314. Hero illuminating Starfleet desktop monitor from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise. (Paramount-TV, 1993-99, 1995-2001, 2001-2005) Vacuum-formed plastic desktop-type monitor with tilting screen and an illuminated translucent graphic operated by a pushbutton switch and a removable acrylic "data" rod. This monitor is currently configured as a Dinaali medical viewer from the Voyager episode, "Critical Care." In Deep Space Nine used by Sisko replacing the Cardassian monitor on his desk and used for the remainder of the series. It accepts both Starfleet isolinear chips and Cardassian data rods. Seen with minor variations in Deep Space Nine episodes, "Battle Lines," "Progress," "Duet, Whispers," "The Maquis Part 1," and others. Later used as a Starfleet monitor in Voyager episodes "Life Line" and "Inside Man" and a Torothan viewer in the Enterprise episode, "Desert Crossing." Built by Prop'er Effects. Two units were built, this is the first and most used version. Includes an extra battery and charger. Measures 11 ¼" x 13 ½" x 13 ½" deep.
