(Paramount-TV, 1987-94, 1993-99, 1995-2001, 1994) Cylindrical aluminum T-shaped tool with rubber grips/rings and an acrylic illuminated tip that is activated by a pushbutton trigger. Used in various scenarios on multiple series, as well as the film, Star Trek: Generations. In TNG, it was used as an engineering device by Data (Brent Spiner) to scan a duplicate Data head in the episode, "Time's Arrow, Part 1"; as a dermal regenerator used on Worf (Michael Dorn). Finally, it was used as by Dr. Soren (Malcolm McDowell) to modify Geordi's (LeVar Burton) visor in ST:Generations. Measures 8" in length.
