1348. Hero Engineering Module from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Voyager. (Paramount-TV, 1987-94, 1995-2001) Cast resin panel with attached mini circuit boards behind a transparent acrylic face in the front and a blinking light box in the back that is activated by a pushbutton switch. A silver cover is missing that hides the 9-Volt battery that powers the light box. Used as a guidance module in the TNG episode, "The Outrageous Okona." It was also used as various engineering modules in multiple Voyager episodes. Built by Makeup & Effects Lab and measures 5 ½ in. x 8 ¼ in.
