(Paramount-TV, 1987-94, 1995-2001) Set of three cylindrical devices constructed of aluminum, resin, rubber and acrylic. Each has retractable tripod legs at the bottom and a working light at the top that turns on with a turn-switch mechanism at the tip. Used in multiple TNG and Voyager episodes as transporter pattern enhancers that aid in acquiring transporter lock on subjects located in areas with high electromagnetic interference. InTNG, the Transporter Enhancers can be seen in the episodes, "Power Play," "Time's Arrow," "Ship in a Bottle," "Frame of Mind" and "Inheritance." In Voyager, they can be seen in "State of Flux," "The Omega Directive," "Counterpoint," and "Dark Frontier, Part 1." Built by Makeup & Effects Lab, with each rod measuring 34 in. long with the legs retracted (and 43 in. when fully upright).
