1357. Hero Illuminating Exocomp & Tellarite Tool/Borg Scanner from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise. (Paramount-TV, 1987-94, 1995-2001, 2001-05) Cast resin painted metallic grey with aluminum, plastic and acrylic components. A pushbutton trigger on the top center activates a red light at the tip. First seen in the TNG episode, "The Quality of Life" as an Exocomp replicated tool. Later modified with the addition of a base ring, it was used as a Borg scanner in the Voyager episode, "Dark Frontier, Part 2." Lastly, it was used as a Tellarite engineering tool in the episode, "Bounty." Originally built by Makeup & Effects Lab and measures 7 ½" in length.
