An Egyptian ceramic ushabti, 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075 - 664 BC, depicted mummiform, wearing tripartite wig, arms folded over chest, hands grasping a pick and hoe, bag painted at center of back. Nice mottled surfaces with spotted areas of glaze remaining as well as traces of detail in black including text. H: 3 ½ in (8.9cm). Ex collection of Prof. Alan Pasch, Maryland.
