Lot 157196 Details
Naval three piece uniform grouping thought to be from the Imperial German period. During this period children's uniforms were rather popular among military families. High quality double-breasted dark blue wool jacket with ten gilt buttons securing the front, and two on each cuff. Left sleeve displays signalman's insignia embroidered onto the jacket. Gold bullion tape present on each cuff. A dark blue wool vest is also included, which was designed to be worn under the tunic. Four gilt buttons secure the vest. An enlisted dark blue cool side cap is included with a black silk cap tally with "Deutschland" sewn to it. While the jacket and vest are thought to be from the Imperial German period, it is likely the side cap dates beyond that period. CONDITION: Near mint overall. WZ Condition: Near mint. Dimensions:
