Medium folio - image size 13 x 17 11/16" (33 x 44.9 cm).

Variant of #5857 in "Currier & Ives Prints. An Illustrated Checklist." by Frederick Conningham

N. Currier and Currier & Ives (1834-1907). The firm published over eight thousand different titles. All handmade lithographs usually hand colored. Nathaniel Currier founded the firm purchasing John Pendleton's assets in New York City in 1834, James Merritt Ives became a partner in 1857, and after that date the publication line changed to Currier & Ives.

Condition: Overall good condition, minor toning. Color faded.
