Flowers, Birds and Lions Japan, 19th century, scalloped form painted in six sections possibly for the Persian market, three with blue scrolled frame enclosing a small bird nesting on stylized leaves,

Meiji Period. Each with a scalloped edge, decorated with multiple reserves and foliage in a typical Imari palette, with the original wood box. Diameter 8.5 in.
