I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my last auction purchase from Leighton Galleries. Very responsive and professional staff, quick processing of my order, all the necessary documentation handled by email, easy payment process. Shipping cost seemed high to me, UNTIL I actually received my package. My item was a large framed photograph with fragile glass and delicate frame details. I was extremely impressed with the degree of protection given to my item — multiple layers & double boxed — which was appropriate for such an irreplaceable object. The cost was justified, and I am very pleased overall. Highly recommend these folks!

I won a sterling silver flatware service whose description said "no monograms". When I received it three of the largest pieces clearly have a monogram. I would not have bid as much for this set if I had known it was monogramed.
