Don't rely on descriptions given
I was disappointed to find that what was described as "minor rusting" on the chairs was not minor at all. There were no closeups in the listing photos other than one of the label.

Thought Fontaine and shipper were very cordial, quick to respond to questions, accurately described the clocks, shipped safely and quickly, have both clocks mostly running, but additional work at hand.

Always Quality Items
Very rare lamp. It is always a pleasure to purchase from Fontaine's. The only draw back is shipping, which is an industry issue. The UPS store did a great job in packing but it's very expensive. Fontaine's does offer pickup, I just couldn't take a day off from work since pickup is only Monday to Friday.

Excellent Recommended Shipper
Since Fontaine's Auction Gallery is a reputable major auction house, we never worry about buying from them (and they have so many amazing items in their auctions). We did worry a bit about shipping the 12 pieces of glass in the lot we purchased (including two stands). However, the shipper Fontaine's recommended, UPS Store # 0655, did an excellent job safely wrapping and shipping all of the items. They were individually wrapped inside a box inside another box. Well worth the price of shipping. All was as described, and the staff of both the shipper and the auction house were very helpful when I called with questions. We would gladly buy from Fontaine's again, and we would be happy to use the same shipper.
