One of he most honest auction houses out there. You can always trust their descriptions as they acll everything, even things I can't see.

Would like to be able to review a completed auction with prices realized.

"Original condition" apparently means deep scratches, not described or photographed. No response to my email regarding the problem. Will not do business with again.

H. & H. is the most authoritative Rookwood dealer in the country.

I think the description of the item could have been a little more truthful. It was a large art glass trumpet vase. The foot was not round but more oval indicating it was either a second or a take home piece. I realize the auction house can not be experts on everything however would not hesitate to do business with them again. Clif

I did contact two shippers, one, K. McNay twice, and never received a response. I think it is important to have two quotes. I recently had an item shipped after a purchase from Leland Auctions and had a $50.00 difference in quotes!! The UPS store did a find job shipping.

Weak communication from auction house. Shipper put tape on frame which stripped the paint.

Of all the auction houses I have dealt with, Humler and Nolan have been the easiest to work with. And, I seem to win at least one of my pics, which makes it all the better!

My first purchase and I am pleased with the quality and condition of my acquisition.

It isn't the auction house but the LA site in general. The brief description should always include the condition of the item. I almost always have to write to be sure I'm not bidding on a chipped or restored item. Thanks for the op to comment. I love the site itself. Dennis M.
