The pictures of the nice Native Carving I was interested in were really good. The in-house shipping was wonderful, very reasonably priced, very fast and the item was packed extremely well. The Carving was awesome quality when it arrived. Very happy with the experience with this auction company.

I've purchased a few times from this auction house and been pretty satisfied, despite having to ask for tracking instead of it just being supplied. However, this time one of the items I won was NOT as described. I politely sent a message through LA and received NO RESPONSE at all. Extremely unprofessional and I will not be bidding with them again.

Klein James Auctions always has a good cross section of items offered. The items are clean and in good condition. If there is damage to the item it is noted in the catalogue. There is always a high and low suggested price for similar items. The item has always been researched so if you have a question the staff is knowledgable about the item and its use or history. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Everyone is helpful to make you feel welcome. JB

Have dealt with Klein James for many years, both buying and selling. The owners are not only extremely knowledgeable, but select their offerings in the best of taste and operate with the highest integrity.

Klein James did not disclose damage to an item and after I purchased it, their response was that it was my fault for not seeing the damage in the photo. I tried to compromise with them on a solution only to have their representative tell the Auction Site representative that I was trying to "pull something". Very unprofessional in dealing with them, I would strongly suggest staying away!

Jim and the Klein James Team are the most wonderful and informative group to work with. Jim is always so helpful and going to Seattle to pick up items is always a delight.
