Lot # 2027 from 9/29/15 auction was listed as a pastel and turned out to be a reproduction. Lot # 141 from 10/10/15 auction came with a frame that was not the original. It was too small and consequently had to be corrected by me with a block plane and a chisel. The painting was wedged into the frame and came loose during the trip home. This is not a great situation for an old and somewhat fragile canvas.

Fine experience and was happy to ship with a low cost. Most auction houses I deal with have exhorbitant shipping arrangements with their recommended shippers.

Condition of one item should have been better documented or explained. Other than that I was very pleased and look forward to bidding with them again. I'm neutral on shipping because I picked up.

There are differences from auction house to auction house. It is always nice to have also shipping from the auction house, but I understand that this is not always possible. The interaction between auction house and shipper was good. I requested the auction house also to take a picture from the backstamp. I received a lot of pictures, but this particular one not. Overall the response from the auction house was late, but really good. Nothing to complain about. Looking forward to the next challenge.

Bully Roland, the main auctioneer, goes out of his way to engage with and oblige his customers.
