It feels as though many auction houses have kick-back deals with their local shippers. I purchased three relatively small pieces of sterling flatware that was sent in a box big with styrofoam large enough for a watermelon. What should have cost $15 to $20 to ship (even with labor), was in excess of $50.

Before I pay the items I bid, their attitude was very good. I told them I would pick up items late, they said it was fine once I finish the payment. However, their attitude is very impatient when I arrange my moving team there. Bad experience.

I bought multiple items, 4. I was very excited to receive but one of the pair of shoes had a very noticable rip in the leather that cost an additional $165 to repair. The condition was not stated and from the photos you would not see but it was extremely obvious and should have been disclosed with the amount of bidders that are absent. Yes, I could have inquired about condition but felt very comfortable with the stated description. I will be very cautious with future purchases from any auction house-I will continue to view but will ask many more questions before purchasing.

Difficult to telephone a person who could process payment. Also difficult and tome consuming to arrange pick up and shipping. I will not do business with this auction house ever again
