Just what I was looking for

Have bought several auction items from Akiba and am delighted with them and the efficiency of the staff re shipping.

Auction advertised a lot, I bid and won. Never received it so contacted them to be told it was a cataloguer error and it should not have been advertised. Something wrong here since it was auctioned and I paid for it. Of course they refunded but I wanted the lot! Ethically wrong and I am totally disappointed with Akiba.

ups pickup charges and packing fees (for small porcelains, in my case) add up really fast. i, m too far from florida (nc) to pick up myself. puts big dent in budget... yes i have one. m. 5/8/19

Ufortunately, Akiba is one of those auction houses where after you've paid for all of your items and they're picked up by one of the recommended shippers to use on their web site, they wash their hands and they feel their done doing business with you. You find out how much your appreciated as a repeat customer after something goes wrong with the shipper they recommended. Now I have a second auction paid for and am simply told to have a different shipper ship my items to me. So now I've lost money with the first shipper, Akiba does not want to make any attonement or give me a credit for my next shipment and Alex is not calling me back after having several conversations with him and his staff. He said he agrees with everything I've told him and yet he cannot seem to make things right by me and offer a discounted shipping fee on my items that remain at his store from April 15th. I always ask the owner, what would you do if this happened to you? and I'm still waiting.

Top notch auction house and highly recommended. Provide accurate information and detail to determine desire for bidding on items. One of the very best in the United States.
