Very smooth transaction.

Lower shipping prices! Many auction house send via USPS Priority and lower costs in handling dept. I would use other auction houses that offer this over this site!

Price on the item was ok. Paid the invoice that included a shipping amount. A week later contacted by a UPS store that I had to pay them to ship it to me. The shipping amount I paid the auctioneer was for them to hand it to the UPS guy (who picks up from them 3x week, they didn't even have to drive out there). In all, paid over $18 to ship 4oz item. I know the exact weight because it was some 90 % silver coins that have an exact weight. They never responded to my inquiry. Crooks with junk fees if you ask me. Liveauctioneers is ok, the "competing bid" BS on some of the sellers is such a waste of time and so bad for your customer experience and brand. Always have to sift through the sheisters... my bad I missed this one with their shipping scam.

Excellent [ smaller ] auction facility! The owner is a gem! (And I've experienced numerous surprisingly bad auction venues).

Very frustrated by registration and shipping process. This mostly was the result of not being able to communicate easily with the auction house. Could not get through on the main phone number. Finally got a back up number and my calls were not returned. Did eventually get some registration assistance by email. Also, was not able to connect with the shipper for over a week because they were backed up.

The auction house e-mailed me about 2 days after the auction and said the mailing process was going "slow" because there was so much to mail. As of today Oct 17 I have not received my purchase. So I don't know what to think at this point. The email I received from them was from someone named Chris.

The auction house was not responsive to e-mailed questions. I contacted the house twice via e-mail and received no responses. One contact had to do with the fact that the item was damaged in transit, which was clearly the fault of the shipper that the auction house had recommended. I was very surprised that this information elicited no response from the auction house.

I wish more auction houses would be as responsive and efficient as this one.

Everything was great. Really like the Chancay piece I ended up with.

I never like being sent a shipper vs auctioneer handling it. Extends time and I don't always know if they get the message I paid and that they are shipping.

The auctions house did a great job the only problem was getting the invoice thru the liveauctioner website

It seems the sale room use one shipper to pick up and then price the goods for shipping to (in my case, United Kingdom)..... once the goods are paid for they are automatically picked up by their shipper.... we had to get a taxi to pick the goods and get them to a Fed Ex office, which is easier said than done, when trying to find these services from the U K. The saleroom were very good and very helpful, I would say good people to do business with.

A few more measurements, the length is listed but the width & weight are not, flipping the ruler just takes a second & would be much appreciated. The shipping charges for jewelry valued under $1000.00 is way to high, considering the size & weights. The boxes get bigger which costs more & there is no reason, most jewelry in general is easy to pick & ship. That goes for most auctions. I know what it takes to do it & what it costs.
