I have bought about a dozen items from MBA over past 10 years and it has always been a good experience.

The shipper, UPS, did HUGE OVERKILL on the packaging for a simple piece of paper. You would have thought they were shipping a porcelain doll or china dishes. Very unhappy with the amount of money they charged me for DIMENSIONAL/VOLUMETRIC weight. I have had DHL shipments from Japan that were cheaper than that UPS Store.

Great item and auction house, only negative is excessive international shipping cost.

Really needed help with shipping! They responded quick and friendly and shipped my item right away!!!

I was very pleased with my recent purchase from an auction, run by MBA Seattle Auction House. The photos and description in the listing were accurate, and the auction progressed at a nice pace. I used the shipping option provided by Live Auctioneers, and I was very pleased when my item shipped to me quickly, and was expertly packed. I love the item I purchase, and I would recommend this auctioneer, if you find an item you like in one of their listings.

A great experience in every way dealing with MBA auction house. They always have a wide range of high-quality items, and their descriptions are accurate. I contacted them with a couple of questions, and they answered comprehensively and quickly. Michael is really knowledgable about art and the market. Previewing the auction and picking up our item afterwards was really easy and pleasant.

I've purchased things from this company many times and have been happy with my auction wins. This time they had Liveauctioneers provide the shipping quotes (outrageous prices); however, when I contacted the company for other recommendations, they were willing to ship my auction lot for a very reasonable price ($70 under Liveauctioneers estimate). I appreciate their willingness to help me out. And they do have excellent items for sale. So my lower rating on the shipping was for the Liveauctioneers quote.
