I had no problem with the Auction House. Apparently the auction item I lost was due to a glitch in your service that dropped me out of the competition, and they had no control of what happened. I found this info out from them and not Live Auction employees that took my whole episode of loosing contact very lightly in my opinion. It's the first time I have had trouble bidding (live) and there has been other issues with bidding live that can't be explained. Someone was supposed to call from Live Auctions to try to unfold what happened, but I haven't heard from anyone. Maybe your concern for all this rating should be looked inward.

Better measurements and description of defects.

Hands down the best auction house I've ever experienced.

Although I am happy with my purchases from MBA as a whole, my biggest beef with US auction houses in general is their reluctance to ship in house. As a dealer of Native American Art, many times I have an item already sold and the snail-paced truncated process of securing a shipping company off site and finally getting everything shipped is absurd. It takes way too long. I would pay more for quicker shipping in house. A way for you to make more money!!

They should think about offering in-house shipping for smalls like jewelry. The commercial shippers really gouge you for what they do. For example they want to charge buyer $100 to ship a small jewelry lot that they put in a flat rate box with a postage cost of $20.

Title of listing said it was made by a famous artist. Description attributed it to this same artist. Biased on this I purchased it on line as that is all on line bidders have to go on is the description. When asked for the documentation, COA, bill of sale or whatever proof they had they had none. They said it "looked" like this artist work and I should have asked before bidding. This is total BS as it was clearly listed as such! I paid with PayPal and was able to get my money back. I get tired of auctioneers that try to cheat on line bidders.

I live in Seattle which is next door to Renton. I don't like buying art online, I went down to the auction and previewed the auction items and then I bid on three or four them. They were extremely helpful at the auction house.

My won items were not shipped, I picked the items up in person. I am very satisfied with the auction house in Renton WN, and may even go to their physical address in the future.

The Auction House has very nice people running that business.

Shipping was very fast but I was unaware of when the items I purchased were shipped. I went to the mail box and was surprised to find the package from MBA all items were packaged securely.

The items were actually nicer than we expected. so we were very happy with our purchases.

Looking at the bid summary, it appeared that I was bidding against myself.
