I think the descriptions were intentionally misleading for both of my items and therefore they were both over-valued. They appear to simply have been pages in a book that were torn out, and I feel like I got scammed. They didn't lie, but they omitted key details and certainly didn't disclose everything they know. Can I get my money back?

I have noticed tbat on-line auctioneers charge each item the shipping cost even though they ship in same box seems like a devious way to accrue extra cash when one charge should is enough buyers beware as you are payi g extra for no value shame on you the auction house

I purchased 2 Thomas Hart Benton lithographs purported to be original AAA issues from the 1930's. They instead were recent. albeit high quality, reproductions as verified by the local conservator for the Thomas Hart Benton historic site in Kansas City. My email correspondence with Great Dane Auctions went unanswered and my attempts at dealing with them via phone only resulted in getting the runaround. Not a reputable outfit in my opinion.

Some make payment easy some make payments difficult Especially for people like me who are always hopping from one country or the other and do not do internet banking. That can delay payments for me. They should all try to have a PayPal account. Thank you

I bid on an unframed mint condition artist proof print as featured in the aucton and photos. When my package arrived, it was a framed numbered version of the same print in less than mint condition. I contacted the auction house who claimed the one I bid on had sold a few months earlier and they forgot to update their listing photos and description to reflect this one instead. They knew of the situation before shipping it to me, and should have informed me of the mistake instead of shipping. They agreed to reduce the price on this one some if I wanted to keep it instead of returning it. It was a very large print that would be difficult to return, so I agreed to those terms. I'm satisfied with their support in trying to resolve the issue, but highly disappointed in the overall experience. When bidding in an auction, I expect to receive the item I am being presented, and not a backup version in worse condition.

Shipping charges are WAY out of line.

They filed a complain in the middle of the summer for nothing. Will never deal with them again.

Communication was very minor and no personal approach as at all.

My only reservations with payment is the fact there's not a secure ecomm checkout. I'm not a fan of my financial info being written on a post it note on an assumption of immediate cross cut shredding.

They were timely and professional in their correspondence and consolidated the shipping. I've just worked with a company that has charged me two sets of shipping fees even though they explicitly say on liveauctioneers that they would charge shipping once. So I appreciated that concession from Great Dane. Courteous, efficient responses, honest financial exchange and quick shipping; that's all that I require and they gave that.

These are really good guys. They sell quality prints in great condition for a very fair price. Love doing business with them. Best, Gary
