I won an old clock/sign that still worked. Easy contact with auctioner to pay bit a bit cumbersome as it was a two step process once for item, then again for shipping, They did an awesome job of packaging the item for shipping and it arrived in good shape. without the cumbersome payment process a 5 star operation

First time bidding with this Auction House and very happy and satisfied with the entire process. Loved my items, accurately described, and shipping was lightening fast. Definitely plan on bidding on future Meissner's auctions.

The sign turned out to be a reproduction. The description was vague enough that was not necessarily misrepresented, but one would presume the item would be authentic since it was in the auction with other authentic items. The porcelain sign’s origin was most likely India.

They were a little slow having me pay for the shipping, but they did respond quickly and got the doll out to me quickly once the doll was paid in full including the shipping cost.

While I was very happy with the front end service and speed in getting my items shipped, I was not happy at all with the non-resolution or even effort of resolving two issues after receipt. I won a large lot of items and for the most part they came in great condition and as advertised in the auction. However, one item was severely damaged by haphazard packing methods and another item was falsely listed as having a card specifically showing provenance of the item being a numbered piece made exclusively for a charity. No such card was sent and the auction house has only emailed me a photograph of someone's scribbled note about the item on a printout of the listing items. Obviously this drastically affects the value of that item (especially since the numbering is not marked directly on the item) and I would have never bid the price I did without the provenance that was specifically mentioned as included with the item. When questioned again about this I received no further response from the auction house. They never even apologized about the broken piece either, let alone address it in their response. Poor way of handling things!

I bought three large 36 "vinyl dolls and two Toni dolls for a total of 5 dolls. I thought that the shipping was going to be a lot higher than it was. They packaged it themselves and went out of their way to the post office to get me a great rate. I live on the west coast and they live on the east coast. They are a very good auction to do business with. I highly recommend them.

Corteous professional contact from the auction house

Items were not in very good condition. Very glad I did not go for other vehicles. Shipping was way over too.. 32.00 for two 12 inch trucks slightly bubble wrapped and thrown in a cheap box. Which was damaged somewhat by the time they arrived.
