I paid for my item the same day I received the invoice, March 8th and just received my item today, April 4th. I had followed up with them in the interim and never heard back

They are slower than others I have dealt with and their packaging is not optimum. The Items themselves were lovely but had not been cleaned. I would rate them 6 or 7 on a scale of ten,

Hi, I bought something last year, and was automatically charged for shipping, despite the fact I said I would pick it up. I recently bought something else and was charged tax and shipping despite being a dealer and again wanting to pick something up. When I said I wanted to pick up, I was told that there are no regular hours and it isn't convenient to pick up. The auction house should make this clear prior to bidding because I don't like to pay for shipping when I don't have to, for lots of reasons.

The payment process was thru PayPal, and also offered Mastercard. When I tried to pay some thru Paypal and some thru Mastercard, it wouldn't work. They sent me a Mastercard "authorization form", I filled it out and returned it, and have heard nothing back from them.

I travel to pick up my auction items on a circuit to my autioneers. Shipping is N/A. Their answering machine message is not a very clear recording and needs improvement in the sound quality. They are great to work with, though, and readily accomodating.

I NEVER RECEIVED MY PURCHASE!! I HAVE EMAILED AND CALLED! NO ONE EVER CALLS ME BACK I PAID IN FULL AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING I HAVE EMAILED PAYPAL TO DISPUTE PAYMENT I WOULD NOT LET THEM BE ON LIVE AUCTIONEERS!!!

The auction house lazily mislabelled the item description on the cutoms form, which meant I had to pay 20 % import tax when I should have paid 5 %.

As of today (11/18/30) I have not received my purchase. I have asked repeatedly for them to send me my tracking information, however I haven't received a response. I've been using this site for many years and this has, without a doubt, been my most unpleasant transaction.

I paid for 9 lots that I won over $1700, as of today, I have only received 3 lots ($680 + 21 % BP, very poorly packaged, the tape came off the box with one finger. The 3 lots were original art, all 3 pieces placed in a cheap plastic bag with no cardboard protection or cardboard separating the items. Nothing securing the items from bouncing around in transit. VERY VERY poor attention to detail. I have requested to be refunded on the remaining 6 lots. EAST COAST AUCTIONS hasn't answered my request, I will never do business with them again. I do not recommended this auction house to anyone. In the meantime, I am out over $1000. Very unhappy.

21 days from auction, no item, no tracking number-no nothing. I paid within hours of the auction. They are hard to get ahold of, I have gotten several times "we're working on it". The one time I got a call from them, they asked if everything was ok? I told them I still had not received anything. I'm got a non-committal statement that was they were sure it would be here "shortly" that was on the 7th or eighth of this month.

I paid immediately for what I won and after a week or so I got an email from them asking if I paid. Seemed very unprofessional. Items/prints and photos packed oddly in tons of newspaper & scotch tape so I was afraid I'd cut the prints as I opened them. normally they would be in a hard cardboard envelope.

Still waiting for my art, I paid on the 10/27 the day I was invoiced, today is 11/16 and no art or tracking. It seems that they are a small operation, under staffed. KB

I paid for the item I purchased and a few days later my payment was cancelled. I finally sent an email to ask why and have not heard back from them. Overall I didn't mind them cancelling because for a $50 doorstop It would have cost me $93.55.

I would never do business with auction house again. They refuse to be contacted by phone ans have very limited e-mail response to questions.

The people at this auction house are very disorganized and route it took two months to receive a book a book I ordered a statue at about the same time that I ordered this book and I got the statue way before I got this book I will never buy from this auction house ever again

Seller advertised in house shipping + was close to Mich so I bid w/them. After pymt was sent they did not return calls/emails-then sent inflated bill for 3rd part ups store shipping + packing (because they didnt have a box?) Again no answer to calls/emails-I paid the shipping because I was afraid if I didnt they would keep the item and my $. 11 days later no item arrived-finally called paypal they told me to open a claim. After claim open I received tracking # s advised seller via email + phone not to send item it will be refused. 3 days later they sent it anyway. It arrived I refused it. Paypal gave back my money. Tried to "live chat" w/live auctioneers nobody ever answered my emails for help. I have been a customer for 12 years at least. Will think twice before bidding on live aucitoneers again

They have been really hard to reach either by email or phone. They keep sending me an invoice for shipping to an address that I did not specify and worse I pointed it out to them several times. sigh... won't be using them again. I bought french silver plate cutlery. Hopefully this 5th time they will get it right.

I don't know what happened. My bid was accepted. I inquired about shipping and was sent what I thought was a bill but I never received the item and was not billed. I called and was told someone would get back with me. I emailed several times with no response. Lost in translation?
