They took 3 weeks to respond to an email about payment and were quick to file a dispute EXACTLY on the 4 week mark. Tried to contact someone and left 2 messages and still haven’t received a call back. Also once I paid for the item though their convoluted process they still haven’t removed the dispute 3 days later. Seems like when it is something they have to do they are VERY slow but when it’s something I have to do they expect things very timely. Ill never buy from you again

This brooch is exactly as described. While the 'financial premium add-ons' are higher than other vendors, the quality of the item, and HIGH QUALITY of their caring staff (Jay), are worth the higher premiums. Questions were answered fully and quickly. They (Jay) really cares. Definitely following this auction house.

High buyers premium, but some very nice items, so maybe it's worth it. Have spent a fair amount of money with them over several auctions. Have been pleased with everything to date.

Can't go wrong with Hindman

This is my second and last purchase from Hindman. The first was a painting from their Denver auction house. They were great to work with. But now I purchased a gold bracelet from the Chicago office. First, Hindman's ACH payment feature doesn't work, and best of all, Hindman doesn't care. With Hindman on the phone, I went through their procedure only to have it stop and not complete. They said sorry, you need to send us a wire. So I did. After several emails to the shipping department, I finally got a shipping quote; FYI-their is no phone number for the shipping department! I emailed back for a phone number to call not wanting to email my credit card info to pay for the shipping. Crickets. So I called the main office for help. The lady had to call her boss to get permission for me to provide her my credit card info over the phone to pay for the shipping. So, now, everything is paid for by December 12th, Hindman's quoted deadline to have an item shipped to arrive by Christmas. The lady said I would receive an email confirming when my item would be shipped with tracking info. Again, crickets. Shame on me, I waiting until Thursday before Christmas to call Hindman only to, you guessed it, get voicemail. Hindman will be closed Friday and Monday after Christmas. So no bracelet for my wife for Christmas. P. S. Heritage Auctions isn't perfect but unlike Hindman, their ACH payment system is flawless and you can still get a human being on the phone to help.

Love buying at Hindman Atlanta. I'm local, so its a great resource for quality larger items you love but shipping costs makes them less appealing from other auction houses. Descriptions are always spot on, staff is helpful, friendly. Seamless process. Bravo!!

My 1st auction with them, I ended up winning 4 items, however one of the items was retracted, I got an email saying. I regret to inform you there has been a clerical error regarding Lot 296 (A Group of Five 1998 NBA Playoffs and Finals Chicago Bulls Michael Jordan Ticket Stubs). Unfortunately, during the sale our clerk had mistakenly added this Lot to your LiveAuctioneers account for a hammer price of $125. However, during the auction, the auctioneer sold this Lot to a separate online bidder at the increment of $200.     issue 2, I won a Michael Jordan signed 1998 bulls finals white hat, turns out it has a nice little stain on it that was not pictured. issue 3-I won chicago bulls 1997 full ticket stubs, turns out one of them is autographed, which was not pictured at auction. Its not a recognizable and cannot get stub a proper psa grade now issue 4. I sent in a post auction offer on some items that were not sold, per customer service. they sent me a form, I filled it out and never heard back. I followed up 2-3 times. issue 5. shipping for a hat, 4 ticket stubs and one autograph Beckett slab was $109. over all displeased with this auction house. Items were fair value but way too many errors on Hindmans side
