Dear Ms. W, Please see the full catalog listing below. AAG offers items from various estates and collections, some old and some decorative. Lot 1417 in our September auction started at $150 and sold for $225. I am sorry you are unhappy with your purchase; however, the chargers were NOT represented as antique or cinnabar, nor do they appear to be antique in the online images. Listed in each lot of our auction, buyers are urged to ask questions should they have any. We gladly answer 300-500 questions and provide additional images three weeks before each auction for clients considering a purchase. There is no correspondence from you. Again, I am sorry that you assumed they were antique; however, the lot was NOT misrepresented. Historically, they are the most expensive shipper on our list, however some clients will only use them. ** Please note: Each lot in our auction catalog has a shipping tab with information and a list of suggested shippers. They will gladly provide you with a quote befor bidding, allowing you to decide whether the shipping charges are acceptable. The shippers suggested are used by hundreds of clients each month. Thank you for your comments. Shown online, in the fourth image of this lot, I see a brace on the rear leg. Since you did not reach out to the gallery, I guess this is what you are referring to. Whether you bid with AAG or any other auction, asking for a condition report is always suggested (also listed in the terms and conditions of sale). This is because, most items offered are antique/vintage and display some form of wear, loss, or restoration. Each lot of our auction states that detailed reports are not included in the catalog, and to PLEASE ASK SELLER FOR A CONDITION REPORT. While we attempt to disclose all, we offer over 1 ********** lots per auction cataloged by five specialists. Sometimes, they are not able to see everything or miss something. That is why we are happy to provide reports with numerous additional photos in case something is missed or the condition is not in line with what a client is looking for (as thoughts on the condition of an antique item are often subjective). The catalog is posted for three full weeks before the auction event. We typically answer 200-400 questions per auction.
