Room for improvement
We've spent at least $20, 000.00 in the past 5 weeks and have purchased items over the last number of years. The staff are very friendly and they do get some good items for sure! Our issues are: 1. Rarely are dimensions posted making us constantly have to ask for measurements. 2. Lack of adequate pictures-posting only a single picture and expecting a buyer to guess the rest is not okay. 3. Inaccurate descriptions-it infuriating and unethical to state that an item is Art Deco, or some other term when in fact the item is a modern copy. 4. Buyers beware-concealed or undisclosed damage and lack of a transparent description. We truly hope to see some changes and are more than happy to edit or change our review.

Though not regarding this satisfactory purchase I have found Lunds often to be unreliable.
They often do not correct mistakes in catalogue description. When you leave an absentee bid they will artificially bid the price up to that level. So they're not bidding on your behalf but on the seller's/their own. Elsewhere this is illegal. Both behaviours should be corrected if the auction process is to be respected.

I hope the masking tape was off
I just hoped that the figure was displayed without the masking tape so that it fully displayed the 1/2 hole on the leg. The item was noted as "damaged" so it's half on me. They forgot to ship it to me that was another problem, but over all I am still happy with the service and item.

They gave me misleading information
They gave me misleading information about the weight of the silver boxes. After receiving the package I messaged the auction house asking why they didn't tell the correct weight or just say they don't have a scale and don't know the weight instead of giving misleading information, but they just ignored me and didn't reply.

Accurate, fast, and fair
In normal years I'd just arrange to pick up the items I've bought, but with the boarder closed due to the pandemic I'm very satisfied with the method, and cost, of shipping from Lund's. I will continue to do business with them.

Undisclosed Damage
Item came with undisclosed damage that will need professional repair by a silversmith. Auction house failed to respond to two emailed requests for assistance. Do not recommend.

Personal Touch
I live in a different province so accuracy in descriptions and photography is important. I was happy with both. One of the things I particularly liked was an actual person answering the phone and the pleasant manner. I will definitely buy again from them. I used Live Auctioneers, recommended by Lunds to attend the auction and it was great.
