I purchased my sonโs Christmas gift and it arrived on time and very very well packaged and protected from damage ๐ ๐ผ ๐ ๐ผ items exactly as pictured but better in person โค ๏ธ

Severe toning
The print has severe toning damage from cardboard backing. I wish they had examined the print out of the frame and included pictures that indicated that damage.

That is an unreasonable expectation in an auction setting or any setting. I stand behind what we sell, and if we saw damage, we would have described it. There was no visible damage, and we would not take anything out of the frame prior to the auction, even if you asked us to before the sale, because that act can damage the piece. Sorry you are unhappy but you still got a great deal on a great piece and who really cares if there is foxing or toning like you are claiming behind the matting, you can't see it anyway.....

These people are common thieves
I purchased a side table for $40 and paid for it promptly. The shipping they recommended was over $500 to bring a tiny little table to Chicago. I arranged for my own shipping. My driver was unable to get to their private home before 4:00 on the appointed day and was not given access. He then continued with his route and was able to pick up the item 8 days later. Bodnar's then demanded that I pay an additional $80 in storage fees. If not, they would not allow the pick up. I cancelled the order and am currently waiting for a full refund. These people are nothing more than common thieves. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Buyer did not comprehend or understand the terms of the sale which clearly explains pick up dates, storage fees and terms of the sale. He opted out of liveauctioneers liveship, which was expensive, and the UPS Store option. Not a tiny table but a piece of furniture that measures 2 feet by 2 feet by 5 feet tall about 100 pounds. His shipper never showed on 2 occasions with no show and no call, he did not get turned away. We charge a $10.00 per day storage fee. he rudely emailed us and threaten us with this feedback so here we are. Merry Christmas and learn how to read the terms that you agree to when bidding at an auction. Don't bid if you don't agree with the terms or can pick up with-in the times disclosed to you in the terms.

READ the description!
The overall purchase, shipping, etc, was very good, the only issue was in not making sure I read the description properly. What the pictures show is a beautiful pearl necklace, what I received was closer to a necklace for a young child. I missed the part where it was only 14โ and how big 3 mm pearls would be. So, the whole process overall was good, but I am disappointed in myself for not doing my due diligence first.

If you do not have a good monitor know that they do not mention missing stones in their written description.

Bad shipping cost, terrible customer service
Iโve had multiple bad experiences with auctions run by Joseph Bodnar, and Iโm officially done. After winning several lots, he sent everything to a random UPS store that charged an outrageous fee for shipping. Even worse, the packaging was appalling โ no bubble wrap, no padding, nothing. They literally tossed everything I won into a single large box and shipped it cross-country from New Jersey to California. Several items arrived damaged or broken due to their complete disregard for proper packing. When I contacted Bodnar directly, I was shocked by how rude and dismissive he was. From the very beginning, he treated my questions as an annoyance. His tone was condescending and hostile, as if I should be grateful just to be doing business with him. After a handful of emails โ where he essentially shouted me down โ he simply stopped responding altogether. Even when the UPS store seemingly lost my package for over a week, Bodnar offered no help, no guidance, and no accountability. This wasnโt a one-time issue. Iโve given him more than one chance, and each time Iโve regretted it. If you value your time, your money, or the condition of the items you win, I strongly urge you to avoid Joseph Bodnar auctions. There are many reputable auctioneers out there โ this simply isnโt one of them.

Jonathan, As we explained in our emails, we cannot move the items from one store to another for you. You did not respond to our emails regarding who you would like to do your shipping, so we had to pick one for you. Then it was you, not us, who turned nasty. I have all the emails, and I also contacted Liveauctioneers about how disgusting and rude you were to us. No matter what we said, it did not please you. So yes, we stopped responding. Why would we continue to get treated in the disgusting manner you like to treat people? We attempted to work things out with you, you continued to treat us horribly, so you were blocked. I am sorry it has come to this, as you seemed to be content bidding with us since 2021. Good day and good luck to you.

They only give 3 days for pick up
They hauled my glass and ceramic pieces, completely bare, to a FedEx after 3 days. Yes, its in the fine print, but it wasn't well advertised and they didn't even sent me a email or call before doing so. It also cost me an extra $40 bucks!!!! Its just a small window for pick up considering I've purchase from dozens of other auction houses that don't have such a small window for pick up.

We did try to help you. Your items are no longer in our possession. You waited past the time and we sent it to a third party shipper as per the terms. It is bad form to not read and follow the terms and assume one can do whatever they please.

They don't even know that we are the buyer and they are the seller
I bought an item at Bodnar's Auction Sales "Jan 02, 2025 Dresden, Meissen, Decorative Arts & Antiques!", I went to the Miami antique show the same week, so I couldn't make the payment from the app despite trying to make it. I called them around Jan 6 and told them that I could make the payment immediately with CC if they wanted, otherwise I had to go home to make it from the computer, they said they don't have CC payment system on the phone, we agree to make payment where ever I got computer next couple day. finally I was able to pay on Jan 9 after back home from Show. I also registered next Action and They blocked to me, when I send message to find reason, the reason is "2 weeks late payment" (They are lying), I called them and explained the situation again same Women open phone and She check Message story sad that ll explain Owner, but they still did not remove it, we live in the same city and this is the 3rd time I have attended their auction and bought products and had them picked up. I have left them excellent feedback before. I haven't started fully buy with them yet, the funny thing is that they don't know how much I shop at other auctions

Yeliz, Our terms state all invoices must be paid within 72 hours. You received the dispute when the card you have on file with Liveuactioneers declined which means you have a bad card on file. That makes you ineligible to bid at our sales. You then paid very late. Please pay your invoices to auction houses on time.
