I would buy from them again

I bought this painting at Kaminski auction as work of russian painter Lev Lagorio. While i was waiting for delivery i made a research and find out that this painting is actually made by some german author. It wasn't sold for 200 $several times. Then someone removed original signature from the painting and signed it Lagorio. Truth to be told auction house eventually returned me money (exclude the comission) after i wrote a letter with evidence, and i was pleased with that, as it was my mistake too, i should have done a research before bidding, but it was a spontaneous find so i had no time. Anyway, i already forgot about this story when i saw that this painting is selling on upcoming November auction as Lagorio!! And that is a real scam

This was not my first experience with an online auction, but it certainly ranked as one of the best. Instructions on how to register, pay and shipping were all spelled out well. After the auction close I received detailed instruction on how to pay and the preferred shippers. The shipper I contacted was prompt and reasonable in their pricing. I received my piece in a couple of weeks and it was packaged well. The item was exactly as described in the catalogue and I could not be happeriee with the experience.

poor quality. the bowl has so many chips and is damaged beyond repair. they did not mention any of the problems in their description. will never try them again.

Item I received was not one in picture and did not match description. Instead of an early Japanese Woodblock I copy of one.

Unfortunately the artwork listed as a Sydney Laurence painting was a forgery. Kaminski Auctions prides themselves on being highly trained and knowledgeable appraisers, I relied on that knowledge and they failed me. I have left messages and emails to no avail. They must do the honorable thing and refund the transaction. I look forward to hearing from them. Fingers crossed.

There are no knowledgeable to give condition reports I called on a William and Mary table to see if it was period and the answer I got was it could be we don’t know either they can’t tell the difference or their being dishonest

I won an American painting of flowers painted in 1865 through Kaminski, and am so pleased. All went well with the procedure and this 'return of America to an Eden-like place' painting (after the Civil War) is inspiring.
