Great Auction House. Great Jewelery

There was a heading that said “find currency “and a picture Was” a gemstone”. I happened to collect both, so I bid on it. I tried calling the Auction House five times before the auction, to understand what I actually bid on. The auction came I was the only better. I did not get an invoice, so I wrote to them (on LiveAuctioneers). They sent me an email with 2 boxes to “agree to cancel” or “do not agree to cancel. I chose the box” not to cancel”. I still haven’t gotten an invoice. So I wrote them back again, asking once again. They sent me a message back stating that they canceled the item due to wrong item, or something like that. So it’s not about the Currency or Gemstone. It’s the accountability. I gave them four chances in two different ways to cancel. Do not buy from them!

This is a lithographic REPRODUCTION of a print or drawing by an unknown artist. An undoctored scan of the image showing the off-white image on a white sheet of paper would have made this obvious. Manipulating the scan and putting a pre-sale estimate of $1, 250-$2, 800 on the piece is nothing short of UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL. The best way to deter collectors from participating in your auctions is to engage in this type of utterly misleading behavior.

The main inconvenience is the shipping process, the service is extremely expensive related to other shipment elsewhere.

I tried contacting the gallery directly but nine of the numbers provided online worked or got an answer on. Thankfully the ups reshipper was amazing. Highly recommended the local UPS. They were the whole experience

Almost fraudulent description and photo of auction item. Rip off specialist.

The print I won in auction was advertised as a print on canvas, when I received it, it was a copy of a print on plastic that was rolled up. I is the cheapest thing I have ever seen and am embarrassed that I was sold such a cheap object for $150.00. Not worth more than $10.00.

Absolutely terrible. I bought a vintage photograph from this auction house and they shipped it to me unprotected in a paper envelope. It arrived creased and bent. Only an idiot would think this is an acceptable way to ship anything even remotely valuable. Not to mention you charged me $22 to ship a small envelope USPS. Ridiculous.

They shipped the wrong item and won’t return my calls.

When I asked for a LOC I was told there is none for the Chagall and that I should ‚ Ä ô ve noticed the misleading info in their website. I immediately cancelled this dishonest order and notified my attorney Scott Levine. So sadly done. Ken

The people at the auction house were so rude t was unbelievable. I tried several times to contact them via email to ask about how to retrieve the painting. The person replied that I was “confused” and that I had not sent them numerous emails. The writing was horrible as English was clearly not the first language. It was a horrible experience and I will never do it again. As well, the painting arrived and the frame is cheap and junky and the painting looks like a first grader painted it. Done with that!

I have not received the auction item so my survey is only based on what's happened so far. I received an email from the USPS stating a label had been created, but every time I checked the item hadn't shipped so I gave the auction house a couple week before contacting them-thinking they might have needed the time shipping all the items from the auction. They have been very responsive since I contacted them, but I'm not sure what the resolution will be since the PO doesn't have a record of picking up the item.

I paid too much of shipping. The rest was perfect.

They have misrepresented items more than once. The pictures they show are not the same as the items they send.

Communication was very poor. 1. Voice mail does not state who it is for. 2. Messages were not returned. 3. Email was not replied to for days. 4. Suggested shipper was a local truck driver, and no one else recommended after being told that the driver was the wrong type of service, even though they deal with other shippers too. I will not be participating in Auctions at Hidden Treasures again! They do not reflect the quality of businesses that I have come to expect from LiveAuctioneers. Thank you

The auction house was quick to reply to questions and was fast on shipping. I was very satisfied with everything until I found out the piece I received is a modern day fake and was listed as a neolithic culture piece. I will not purchase from this auction house ever again.
